West Lakes Golf & Villas is an 18-hole championship golf course opened in 2018. It is the first golf course in the western Ho Chi Minh City region.The property, featuring full Club House and driving range facilities will add 9 more holes to become a 27-hole golf course with under-construction residential areas and villas which will be completed in 2019.

The West Lakes course was designed by Thomson Perrett, popularized by founder and five times British Open winner Peter Thomson. The layout is 7100 yards long, highlighted by picturesque lakes on almost every hole, undulating fairways, clever bunkering, and signatures of Thomson Perrett and the local implementation team.

West Lakes Golf & Villas is in South Vietnam to feature Zeon Zoysia grassed fairways. The greens are the Tifeagle breed of Bermuda grass which produces fast running and pure rolling putting surfaces. Golfers of all levels will appreciate the premium condition of the turf.

The front nine starts rather innocuously with wide fairways and landing areas. The back nine has more of the exciting holes and challenges. The key to good scoring at West lakes is to purposely lay up short of the fairway and greenside bunker complexes. Patient golfer rewards follow while aggressive hitters are in for a long day.

The facilities include an extensive grass driving range attached to the clubhouse, where practicing golfers can be seen from the main restaurant. The restaurant offers Western, Korean, Japanese, Chines,e, and Vietnamese dishes, including golfer fast food and elegant dining options. Luxurious changing rooms with a jacuzzi, well-stocked pro shop, a bar round out the clubhouse. While on-course kiosks at holes #1, #6, and #14 complete the F&B offerings at West Lakes.
